The head of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Arkadag city, the new administrative center of Ahal province. There he held a meeting on the arrangement of the opening ceremony of new buildings in the city within the first phase of the construction. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today».Berdimuhamedov instructed the officials to take the necessary measures to make the corresponding event memorable and joyful. He stressed that the festivity should reflect the happy life of the citizens of Turkmenistan, as well as the success of the national economy.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty gave the order to increase the pace of organizational work within the creation of a management structure for the facilities of the first phase of construction of the city.
Particular attention was paid to the importance of the harmony of buildings, which are located near the monument to the famous Akhal-Teke horse Akhan. Berdimuhamedov noted that it should become a popular place among young people. He also heard information about traffic lights, which will be controlled through modern digital technologies.
Part of the meeting was dedicated to the arrangement of the tree-planting campaign. Then the head of the Halk Maslakhaty got acquainted with the agricultural and vineyard lands around Arkadag city.
