Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey Ruslan Kazakbaev held a meeting with Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu. The interlocutors considered attracting Turkish investments to Kyrgyzstan, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported on March 9.
The diplomats focused on promoting and deepening bilateral trade and economic relations through the establishment of the Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Development Investment Fund and discussed the ways of resolving disputes between the Turkish companies and the Kyrgyz side.
Kazakbayev extended his condolences to the fraternal Turkish people over numerous victims in the devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey on February 6.
Cavusoglu expressed gratitude to Bishkek for providing assistance in the difficult time for the Turkish people, noting that this gesture had opened a new page in Kyrgyz-Turkish relations.
The interlocutors agreed to maintain regular contacts to exchange views and «synchronize watches» on all issues on the agenda of bilateral and multilateral relations.
