Bratislava hosted the first forum of entrepreneurs from the Republic of Tajikistan and the Slovak Republic. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda and Deputy Minister of Economy of Slovakia Peter Svec delivered opening remarks, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The participants made presentations on the trade and investment opportunities of the two countries. The officials and businessmen working in the energy, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries attended the event.
The main goal of the forum was to find business partners and expand trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Slovakia.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan and the Deputy Minister of Economy of Slovakia held a meeting on the sidelines of the business forum. They expressed readiness to support partnerships between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
Sheralizoda briefly informed his interlocutor about the investment capacities of Tajikistan in the hydropower, agricultural and tourism sectors.
