Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan discusses large-scale projects with Arab investors

Chairman of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov held talks with the investors from the United Arab Emirates in Bishkek. They considered implementing major investment projects, the press office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported to CentralAsia.news.

They paid special attention to key aspects of multi-level partnerships, including in the mining, energy, agricultural and banking sectors. Japarov stressed that the Republic intends to attract a great number of world-class companies.

He said the authorities of Kyrgyzstan are ready to take all necessary measures to create an enabling environment for foreign businessmen and encourage investment in large-scale projects.

The delegation of Arab businessmen, headed by Chairman and CEO of Al Sayegh Group Abdul Jabbar Al Sayegh, expressed interest in investing in the sectors that mostly benefit the two states.

As was reported, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan invited investors from Japan to inject financial resources into Kyrgyz economy during the Central Asian Investment Forum.
