On September 7, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov held a meeting of the Council on Fiscal and Investment Policy of the Cabinet of Ministers. Minister of Finance Almaz Baketaev presented the report at the meeting, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The Minister presented a draft of the main directions of 2023-2027 fiscal policy and the main parameters of the 2023-2027 state budget.
In 2023-2027, fiscal policy will continue to perform the stimulating role.
It will be aimed at mobilizing resources, ensuring fair competition for entrepreneurs and diversifying and modernizing manufacturing and creating a predictable economic environment with a low external impact factor.
Akylbek Japarov emphasised the importance of further fiscalization of tax and customs procedures and digitalization of public services and business processes.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers highlighted the need to open an IT University and create an IT-Town and introduce gold and digital som in 2023.
