On September 1 and 2, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev held a series of meetings with members of the government delegation of the Russian Federation, the press office of the Ministry reported.
Jamshid Khodjaev held the first meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. The interlocutors discussed the opportunities for increasing the supply of Uzbek goods to the Russian market, including textiles, building materials and home appliances. They also reviewed the progress of the implementation of joint industrial cooperation projects.
The Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk. They focused on building up cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, transport and logistics sectors.
Jamshid Khodjaev met with Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov. The agenda focused on increasing mutual supplies of value-added goods, interregional partnerships and the plan of this year’s bilateral events.
On September 2, the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Victoriya Abramchenko to discuss the measures to ensure food security and mutual supplies of agricultural products.
