Ambassador of Tajikistan to Russia Davlatshoh Gulmakhmadzoda made his first visit to Yekaterinburg. He met with Head of the City Administration Alexei Orlov to discuss key aspects of bilateral cooperation in a wide range, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
The parties agreed to intensify partnerships in the business sector, in particular the industrial sector. They focused on the prospects for expanding relations in education, health care, tourism and culture.
They noted that a land plot would be allocated in Yekaterinburg to build a centre of Tajik culture. Businessmen from the administrative centre of Sverdlovsk Region were invited to participate in the Tajikistan-Russia investment forum, which will be held in Dushanbe next month.
On the same day, Gulmakhmadzoda met with the rectors of the Russian State Vocational Pedagogical University, Ural State University of Economics and Ural Federal University to consider training specialists for the industrial sector.
