Ambassador of Turkmenistan presents credentials to head of South Africa

Ambassador of Turkmenistan Batyr Rejepov presented his credentials to the head of the Republic of South Africa (RSA) Cyril Ramaphosa. As part of the relevant event, the parties also discussed cooperation between the states. It was reported by the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Within the ceremony, Rejepov conveyed the greeting and wishes of the leader of the Central Asian country Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Rafamosa. The President of South Africa, in turn, expressed the hope that all citizens of Turkmenistan will continue to live in peace and prosperity.

The Turkmen ambassador and the head of the RSA assessed the prospects for further interstate cooperation. Attention was paid to the fact that there is great potential in the respective direction.

The embassy of Turkmenistan operates in South Africa as a residence in the city of Nur-Sultan.

In May of this year, Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to Rafamosa on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. He noted that the partnership between the countries is based on mutual respect, trust and equality.
