Kazakhstan determined to promote economic partnerships with EU countries

On July 19, Chairman of the Government of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov addressed the Kazakhstan-European Union dialogue platform focusing on the matters related to the intensification of cooperation. In his speech, the Prime Minister highlighted the determination of Kazakhstan to give a powerful impetus to economic partnerships with EU countries, the press office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

The Head of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan, ambassadors of EU countries and representatives of government agencies and national companies of Kazakhstan took part in a lively international exchange of views.

The Prime Minister emphasised that the major business companies in EU countries are interested in cooperation in the mining industry that has accumulated the huge potential. In this regard, the Prime Minister called on the geological companies of EU countries to actively cooperate in building a uniform digital platform, conducting research and developing industry infrastructure.

Addressing the foreign participants, Alikhan Smailov emphasised that Kazakhstan firmly intends to further promote and enhance economic cooperation with EU countries.
