The industry ministries of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, India, deputy industry ministers of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and China, as well as SCO Secretary-General Zhang Min and Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee Ilhomjon Nematov will arrive in the capital of Uzbekistan to take part in the CIS and SCO Industry Ministerial Meeting on July 15, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.
Tashkent will host the 8th Meeting of the CIS Interstate Council on Industrial Safety.
The participants will discuss the prospects of multilateral cooperation within the SCO and the CIS in industrial development and industrial cooperation, implementation of joint investment projects, adoption of new technologies and industrial diversification.
The agenda of the meeting of industry ministers and deputy ministers of the SCO Member States envisages discussing and approving the draft Programme to stimulate industrial cooperation among business communities of the SCO Member States. The document will be brought up for discussion at the SCO Summit in Samarkand.
