The authorities of Tajikistan intend to take the necessary steps to increase employment opportunities for the local populations. The country adopted the concept aimed at promoting productive employment for the period until 2040. The project envisages creating 100,000 jobs very year, the press office of the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment reports.
The government officials noted that the population of the Central Asian state will reach 11.5 million in 8 years. In this regard, the Government predicts the development of Tajikistan on the two scenarios – industrial and industrial-innovative.
They emphasised that the country would have about 7.6 million active labour resources by 2030, adding that members of the rural population mostly move abroad for work, while educated citizens become labour migrants less often.
With the aim to fill 100,000 jobs that will be created in the country every year, specific measures will be taken to attract investment in technical and vocational education.
