On June 24, Dushanbe hosted the forum of the sectoral committees of health trade unions of Tajikistan, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. They exchanged experience in trade union activities and services, the press office of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan reported.
Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan Maliksho Nematzoda told the participants about the activities of trade unions in the Republic. He made a detailed presentation of the areas of work of the Federation and its committees, in particular in the health sector. Other participants of the forum made presentations.
Following the forum, the committees of the health trade unions of Tajikistan, the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan signed a partnership agreement.
Before the forum, the representatives of trade unions of the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan held talks with their Tajik counterparts. They discussed the outcomes of multilateral cooperation, occupational safety of employees of medical institutions, legal protection of this category of citizens and social and economic aspects of trade union activities.
