Tajikistan to increase imports of milk, meat and agricultural machinery from Belarus

The Tajikistan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic cooperation held a meeting in Minsk. It was noted that the Republic of Tajikistan is interested in increasing the imports of meat and dairy products and agricultural machinery from Belarus, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan reports.

Minister of Agriculture Sady Karimzoda said Tajikistan is going to increase its purchase of beef, raw milk, tractors and agricultural machinery in Belarus, emphasising that Tajikistan imported 535 agricultural machines from Belarus last year.

The participants focused on possible cooperation in training and internships of agricultural students.

On June 10, Deputy Chairman of the Khalton Region Executive Body Faizullo Salimzoda met with Deputy Head of the Gomel Region Executive Committee Dmitry Kozel. They discussed the possibilities of building farms in Tajikistan by Gomel specialists.
