The Chairman of the National Bank presented the preliminary monetary policy report for five months of the year. The President was informed in detail about the current situation in foreign and local markets, the amplitude of fluctuations and the inflation forecast. The emphasis was placed on gold and foreign exchange reserve management.
The economist put forward a number of specific initiatives to further develop the trading platform for government securities and the national payment model.
Commenting on the report, the President set a number of specific tasks aimed at implementing the monetary policy, mitigating the negative impact of inflation and increasing returns from stock markets.
