Uzbekistan completely lifts pandemic-related entry restrictions

Uzbekistan completely lifts pandemic-related entry restrictions. Restrictions will be lifted for all tourists arriving from foreign countries on June 10, 2022. This decision was made based on the overview of the country-level COVID-19 cases on the territory of Uzbekistan, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

As reported, the Republican Special Commission of Uzbekistan will ease all temporary restrictions for those travelling to the country for tourism purposes, including by air, via border railway stations and border crossing points.

Foreign citizens are no longer required to provide a negative PCR test result, an express COVID-19 antigen test and a vaccination certificate or passport.

In taking this decision, the Special Commission was guided by the recommendations of WHO and the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan along with the positive dynamics of recovery.
