On the occasion of the International Day for Protection of Children, a cartoon festival will take place at the «Turkmenistan» Cinema and Concert Hall in Ashgabat on June 1. The event will be organized with the support of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, as reported by the press office of the state agency.
The festival starts at 10:30 am, and it is free. Children will also be able to play games with party entertainers and take part in question & answer сontests. The most active children will receive special gifts.
On Monday, at a working meeting, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave the order to hold events dedicated to the International Day for Protection of Children at a high level.
Today, on May 31, at 10 am, a festive event took place in the «Ashgabat» park. It was organized with the support of the Children’s Fund of Turkmenistan.
On May 17, a meeting on the development of a national concept for strengthening the child protection system was held in the Central Asian country. It was organized by UNICEF. Deputies, prosecutors, as well as representatives of various ministries took part in the event.
