On May 30, the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Director of the Youth Affairs Agency Alisher Sadullayev took part in the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival Teknofest in Baku, the Dunyo News Agency reported.
The Uzbek delegation was received at the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan.
The meeting focused on promoting Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan cooperation in the digital technology and communications sectors, as well as participating in international industry events.
The members of the Uzbek delegation informed their counterparts from Azerbaijan about the key aspects of the youth support programme of Uzbekistan that envisages providing access to education and employment and encouraging young people to take an active part in the economic life of the country. The presentation aroused great interest among the officials of the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan.
The Uzbek delegation held meetings at the Eurasian Regional Centre of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum during its visit to Baku. They discussed key aspects of the youth policy of Uzbekistan, the activities of the Youth Affairs Agency and the projects of the Eurasian Regional Centre of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum.
The meeting between the delegation of the Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan and the Eurasian Regional Centre of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum resulted in signing the Declaration of Intent.
