Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan and Egyptian businessmen discuss investments

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda held a meeting with an Egyptian business delegation in Dushanbe. They discussed a number of issues related to investments, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

The meeting agenda focused on boosting investment opportunities of Tajikistan, finding partners and putting Tajik-Egyptian business entities into operation. Particular attention was paid to partnership opportunities with the private sectors of the two countries.

The Egyptian businessmen will meet with the heads of a number of government agencies during their visit. The business programme includes visits to the industrial zones in the capital of Tajikistan, the industrial enterprise in Baldzhuvan district and the Kulyab free economic zone.

In early March, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon paid an official visit to Egypt, where he met with local entrepreneurs, investors and company managers.
