Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea Aida Ismailova participated in the presentation of Kyrgyzstan. Representatives of the largest companies of South Korea and Presidential Secretary for Small and Medium-Sized Ventures Lee Byung-Hun attended the event, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The Ambassador made presentations on the investment, export and tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan.
The Ambassador said Kyrgyzstan, located in the heart of Central Asia, has an advantageous geographical location and offers the enabling business environment and favourable investment climate for foreign entrepreneurs to enter the Kyrgyz market and attract investments.
Ismailova also highlighted the possibility of setting up Kyrgyz-Korean joint ventures that would produce and export goods to European countries within the GSP+, as well as to the EAEU countries with the market of 180 million peoples.
Following the presentation, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in key areas, such as health care, digital banking, power engineering and infrastructure development.
