On May 1, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev warmly congratulated his compatriots on the significant spring holiday – the Kazakhstan People’s Unity Day, the press office of Akorda published the press release.
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev emphasised that this holiday elevates unshakable solidarity of the Kazakh society. The age-old traditions of friendship, mutual trust and understanding have firmly implanted in the self-consciousness of people and built a monolithic foundation for a harmonious life, peace and cohesion, the President added.
The leader of Kazakhstan stressed that historically, the generous Kazakh land has brought together different ethnic cultures, which have become an integral part of its identity. This vast set of ideals and values contributes to tackling the difficulties and global challenges, the President said.
In modern conditions, a powerful factor influencing consolidation of society is the New Kazakhstan ideological concept that “draws strength” from the creative energy of all citizens of the country. Therefore, every citizen is to make his contribution to the development of the country, the President emphasised.
