The head of the state congratulated the newly elected leader of the country. He said parting words to Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The president stressed that victory in the relevant election is a sign of big trust from the citizens.
Such trust must be justified, added Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The acting head of the state underlined that the president must love his homeland unconditionally, and be ready to give his life for it. The president expressed hope that Serdar Berdimuhamedov would always be lucky within the new post.
According to the results of the presidential election, Serdar Berdimuhamedov got 72,97% of the votes. International observers said that the event was democratic and transparent.
