PCR test laboratories on Kyrgyz borders to be closed

On March 3, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov discussed the current epidemic situation in the country during a regular meeting of the Task Force to Combat Coronavirus. As the epidemic situation is improving, the Task Force has decided that it will be no longer mandatory to wear a facemask at schools from March 4, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

As was reported, the new rules apply to schoolchildren and employees of general education institutions.

However, everyone is required to comply with such sanitary rules as frequent hand washing and disinfection.

The Task Force instructed the Ministry of Health and the governors to consider the advisability of further operation of sanitation control points on the state border and to close private PCR test laboratories on the territory of border checkpoints on the Kyrgyz border.

There were 20 confirmed cases of COVID-19 throughout the country and no deaths among coronavirus patients in the last 24 hours.
