Kazakhstan to strengthen investment and economic partnerships with France

On February 27, President of France Emmanuel Macron and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation in a warm atmosphere at the initiative of the leader of France. The interlocutors focused on expanding bilateral mutually beneficial relations in various fields, the press office of Akorda reported to CentralAsia.news.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the ways to strengthen Kazakhstan-France cooperation in the economic and investment sectors, as well as the current situation on the Eurasian continent. The leaders of the two states agreed to maintain business contacts in the future.

As was reported, the leader of Kazakhstan held telephone conversations with President of the European Council Charles Michel the day before. The interlocutors discussed the prospects for building up bilateral mutually beneficial relations and other issues on the agenda of mutual interest.
