On February 23, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to the Akhal-Teke equestrian complex. There he walked with the foal, gave a name to the Alabai puppy, rode a horse and started to write a new book. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today».
The leader of the country visited the foal, who was born on January 18. Berdimuhamedov called it Zaman («Time»). It must be added that Zaman reacted to Berdimuhamedov’s voice with a neigh, and it seemed that the animal thanked the president for his care. Representatives of the International Association «Turkmen Alabay» asked the President to name the Alabai puppy, who was also born on January 18. It was named «Eyyam» («Epoch»).
The head of the state took a short walk with the pets, and after that he took a horse ride on an Akhal-Teke steed «Garashsyz» («Independent»). Having completed the horseback ride, the president went to the office located in the complex, where he started writing a new book.
It will tell about independence, neutrality, good life in the country, art and culture, humanism, history. The book will inspire citizens to achieve great goals in the new era of development of Turkmenistan, which is called «The Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State».
