On February 11, Chairman of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov participated in the collegium of the Ministry of Finance. The officials reported on the work done last year and the action plans for 2022, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.
Our country is reaching a new stage, we have undertaken great obligations. Much work has been done last year, the Prime Minister said.
Japarov said the Government was going to significantly increase the salaries of state employees from April this year.
The Chairman of the Government called on the Ministry of Finance to make precise and reasonable estimates.
He also highlighted the need to considerably improve public expenditure efficiency.
The Prime Minister also emphasised that the Ministry should prepare to pay the largest part of the external debt in 2023.
He reminded that during the above period, substantial financial resources were used to develop the regions and support the social sphere through raising benefits and salaries.
