On February 10, at the request of Deputy Prime Minister for Construction Charymyrat Purchekov, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov checked the progress of modernization of several facilities and got acquainted with the plans and drawings of new buildings in Ashgabat. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today».
First of all, Berdimuhammedov got acquainted with the plan to modernize the former government tribune, which was built by Bouygues Turkmen. The presentation was held by Alexei Reshov, the CEO of the company. The President ordered the reconstruction of the tribune into a center for business meetings. The head of the company also reported on the modernization of the State Children’s Library named after Bazar Amanov.
Then the head of the state checked the projects of a barracks for 150 places, three two-storey residential buildings of the state border service with 18 apartments each, and a kindergarten for 320 places.
Dovran Hudayberdiyev, the head of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, showed the leader of the country a master plan for new shopping and business centers that are being built on Magtymguly, Atamurat Niyazov and Hoja Ahmed Yasavi streets.
Purchekov reported on the progress of reconstruction of residential facilities along Magtymguly and Kemine streets. The head of the state noted that within the framework of the process it is necessary to be guided by the principle «The State is for People!».
The Turkmen leader paid special attention to the master plan of the Tashkent park, which is being built along Magtymguly street. The President pointed out the need to take into account the elements of the national identity of the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples in the design of the park.
The head of the state also took a look at schemes for the repair of the road from Taslama to Julge street, and the reconstruction of Kopetdag street. Berdimuhamedov directed to focus on the use of a multi-layer subgrade.
