President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a number of projects that would be implemented in the capital of the country, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported.
Starting this year, the concept of the Human Dignity Index will be introduced in Tashkent. For this purpose, one mahalla will be selected in Chilanzar, Uchtepe, Sergeli and Yunusabad districts, and a survey comprising 56 points regarding the inspirations, problems and urgent needs of residents will be conducted. Based on data collected, the mahalla development strategy will be developed.
The leader of Uzbekistan instructed that experts and officials would draft the Human Dignity Index and train on how to use it.
President Mirziyoyev reviewed the current situation in the investment and export sectors, including the progress in developing the investment projects in mahallas.
The President instructed to increase exports by attracting the well-known brands and thoroughly study the needs of the domestic market to meet them.
