President of Kazakhstan learns about social and economic “everyday life” of capital city

On January 31, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar and Head of Administration of Nur-Sultan Altai Kulginov, who reported on social and infrastructure improvements in the capital city, the press office of Akorda.

They reported on the progress of construction works on a number of social facilities and gas distribution networks, the implementation of equity construction projects and the creation of a favourable investment climate.

This year, it is planned to build about 10,000 apartments, which is more than three times the amount built over the past few years. In this context, the plans for the completion of construction of another 40 multi-apartment residential complexes, which until that time were regarded as long-term construction projects, were presented. 16 new schools will open the doors for children.

Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev highlighted the need to expand the construction of modern social facilities and demolish old buildings in a precarious condition. The leader of Kazakhstan also instructed to continue youth empowerment activities and create new jobs.
