On December 16, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan Erbolat Sembayev presented the letters of credence to President of the Republic of Malta George Vella at a ceremonial reception in Valletta, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan reported.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan conveyed the greetings and best wishes to the President of Malta on behalf of Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev during bilateral talks that took place after the ceremony. The interlocutors discussed the main aspects of current and future interstate cooperation.
George Vella expressed gratitude to the interlocutor and congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the 30th anniversary of independence. The President of Malta focused on the substantive contribution of the first President Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev to building the state and positively evaluated the political and socio-economic reforms initiated by the current leader of the Republic.
George Vella congratulated the diplomat on the beginning of his career and wished him every success in his work. Erbolat Sembayev assured the interlocutor of his readiness to make every efforts to enhance bilateral relations.
