On December 10, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov took part in the final meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of the year via videoconference. In his speech, Japarov paid special attention to the single labour market in the framework of Eurasian integration, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.
He noted the importance of taking further measures to create favourable conditions for guest workers in the territory of the EAEU Member States.
“Particularly in the current epidemiological situation, adequate social protection should be guaranteed to our citizens and members of their families working on the territory of every member state,” the President emphasised.
The Kyrgyz leader noted that Kyrgyzstan that would take over the chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2022 would make every effort not only to implement the current EAEU agenda, but also to expand its activities in new areas.
The Republic of Kazakhstan chaired this meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
