On December 8, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on his own behalf, congratulated newly elected Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Olaf Scholz on the start of a new stage in his political career at the high and responsible post, the press office of Akorda reported.
The leader of Kazakhstan stated that this historical reality vividly testified to the trust of the German society in Olaf Scholz, as well as his commitment to implementing the national political and economic development concept and promoting national interests on the global arena. The President wished Germany led by the new chancellor to gain new achievements and accomplishments.
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev emphasised that he viewed Germany as a key partner of Kazakhstan in the EU and attached profound significance to dynamically expanding Kazakhstan-Germany strategic partnerships.
The leader of Kazakhstan noted that he was ready for a direct dialogue with the German politician to enrich multifaceted cooperation on the vectors Kazakhstan-Germany and Central Asia-European Union. Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev invited Olaf Scholz to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan at any convenient time.
