Mayor of Nur-Sultan reports to President on social and infrastructural development

On November 24, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev met with Nur-Sultan Akim Altai Kulginov. The Mayor reported on the social and infrastructural development of the territory under his supervision, the press office of Akorda reported to CentralAsia.news.

The Mayor reported on the measures taken to attract investments, speed up construction of residential areas and social facilities, improve gas supply and complete the equity construction projects.

Kulginov reported that a record number of socially assisted housing, educational and other social facilities had been built this year. 2,900 social facilities were built in 2019, and this figure has reached 10,000 in 2021. 15 schools for 40,000 children have been put into operation this year.

The Akim reported on the measures taken to improve the epidemiological situation and the progress of the vaccination campaign. Commenting on the report, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev gave the Mayor instructions on the beautification of the capital and the improvement of the quality of life of citizens.
