On November 23, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Real Tex Tashkent textile enterprise, located in Shaykhantakhur district of the capital, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported.
Real Tex Tashkent LLC started working less than 6 months ago, in May. In such a short period, it has produced goods worth 390 billion soums. Its production departments are fitted with modern spinning, weaving, dyeing and sewing equipment that manufactures high quality products, including yarn, plain and printed fabrics and finished textile products.
The annual production capacity of the enterprise is up to 22,000 tonnes of yarn and almost 6 million metres of fabric. The construction cost of the textile enterprise is US$ 50 million.
The Uzbek leader visited the production departments, where he could see the products manufactured at the enterprise, and held a meeting with the khokims and mahalla heads from Tashkent. The agenda of the meeting focused on the work done by assistants to district khokims and Tashkent khokim in mahallas. The President emphasised that khokim assistants at all levels should provide the platform for the reforms aimed at reducing unemployment, promoting the private sector and supporting youth initiatives.
