On November 19, the opening ceremony of the largest shopping, service and entertainment centre in the Republic Siyoma Mall took place in the capital of Tajikistan. President Emomali Rahmon and his son, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali attended the ceremony. The centre occupies an area of over 3.5 hectares, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.
It is located in Firdavsi district. The three-storeyed building covers on an area of 24,000 square metres. It houses 86 retail and service outlets, halls, shops and entertainment centres.
The shopping and entertainment centre sells domestically produced and foreign goods, clothes and food. Retail and service outlets, a children’s entertainment hall, fast food outlets and a 400-seat cafe and a 290-seat cinema are located on the ground and first floors.
Offices of numerous companies and a conference room are located on the second floor. The foreign language and cooking training centres in the mall.
The construction of Siyoma Mall started in 2019. About 400 Tajik builders were involved in construction work.
