Igor Makarov presented the President of Turkmenistan with new proposals for the development of the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea.
On October 12, Igor Makarov, President of the ARETI International Group of Companies, met with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat. The parties discussed issues of further cooperation, taking into account the existing potential of the Central Asian country. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan Today».
The businessman presented the leader of the country with a report on the work done under the contracts concluded between the Turkmen departments and the holding. He also announced new proposals for the development of the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea.
Berdimuhamedov, in turn, said that Ashgabat always asks foreign contractor companies for one basic thing — the use of advanced technological solutions. According to him, Turkmenistan is also committed to safety standards that determine the protection of the environment.
The President gave Makarov a number of instructions regarding the implementation of joint projects. The head of ARETI promised the head of the state to be more responsible within fulfilling contractual obligations.
