Bakashova calls on Qatari companies to help remote regions of Kyrgyzstan

The interlocutors noted their interest in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

On September 13, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Jyldyz Bakashova had a meeting with CEO’s Assistant at Qatar Charity Nawaf Abdullah Al Hammadi. The interlocutors discussed the progress in implementing the projects by the Qatari side in the country, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Bakashova said Kyrgyzstan attached great importance to promoting cooperation with Qatar in all areas, and the country was interested in strengthening relations between the two states.

She called for continued cooperation in building social facilities in remote areas of the country, improving the quality of education and providing assistance to vulnerable populations within the state programmes in Kyrgyzstan.

As was reported, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov invited the Qatari side to help the remote regions of the country. In particular, Japarov proposed to consider the opening of English and Arabic language training and IT centres, as well as providing Internet access to students in remote villages of the Кepublic.
