Kazakhstan launches digital government platform

An innovative outpost of the executive branch will be responsible for analytics and digital transformation.

On September 6, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev gave a symbolic start to the work of the Office of Digital Government that would house national analytical centre, a digital transformation site and a design organisation, the press office of Akorda reported.

Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Bagdat Musin informed the President about the goals and objectives of the ‘body’ of the digital government. He emphasised that the main areas of its activities would be primary analytics automation and preparation of forecasts and scenarios for further development.

The Office will monitor and detect possible breakdowns in the final indicators. Digital transformation involves government process reengineering and digital conversions.

The Minister presented a new analytical solution that simplifies domestic and foreign trade. The new solution makes it possible, through online services, to keep the prices of food products under control and perform other operations.
