A fire broke out in a housing facility, two workers of the company died in a fire.
On September 6, at 04.55 Kazakhstan time, a fire broke out in a two-storey building for workers’ accommodation of KazMunayTeniz LLP MNK on the Borankol field in Mangistau Region, the press office of KazMunayGas reported.
The fire was extinguished through the coordinated actions of the fire brigades. Two crews of the fire department of KazMunayTeniz LLP MNK were involved in extinguishing the fire. The investigation is being conducted to determine what has started a fire.
According to the preliminary report of the gas production company, two workers died and three workers with minor injuries had received the necessary assistance.
The managers of the branch of the gas production company have arrived on the scene of the accident. JSC NC KazMunayGas set up the task force headed by Chairman of the Board of Directors Alik Aidarbayev. The emergency response team consists of representatives of the corporate divisions.
