Address of President of Kazakhstan to be implemented as part of general plan

The national plan of action to fulfil the tasks set in the Address of the President of Kazakhstan will be submitted for approval on September 7.

On September 2, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev received Prime Minister Askar Mamin, who reported on the measures to be taken to implement the initiatives put forward by the President in his Address to the people of Kazakhstan, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported.

Mamin reported that the National Plan of Action would be submitted to the President for approval on September 7. It includes the projects aimed at ensuring the sustainability and competitiveness of the national economy, improving the welfare of the people, achieving maximum efficiency of the healthcare and education systems and addressing urgent problems in the regions.

The Prime Minister also reported on the measures taken to reduce import dependence and prevent the upward jump in the prices for socially important food products and the pace of the harvesting campaign.

Giving specific instructions to the Government to ensure the fulfilment of the tasks set in the Address, the President highlighted the importance of coordinated activities of the Cabinet of Ministers and the regional administrations on the entire front of work.
