Maripov tasks Cabinet of Ministers to solve problems affecting Talas Region

The Chairman of the Government visited a number of facilities and road construction sites during his working trip.

On July 30, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov inspected the progress of reconstruction of the Bishkek-Osh highway, the state of the Suusamyr-Talas-Taraz highway on the Otmok pass and the operation of infrastructure and educational facilities and met with local people, the press office of the Government of Kazakhstan reported.

When talking to the residents of Kara-Buura district, affected by recent mudslides, Maripov emphasised that the Government would make every effort to solve difficulties that the residents of the region were facing.

As was reported, mudslides destroyed the bridge and the Kara-Buura-Chatkal road and damaged a house and a private fishing farm.

Upon inspecting the progress of reconstruction of road infrastructure facilities, the Prime Minister gave specific instructions to the high-ranking officials, in particular to overhaul the 8-km road on the southern side of Too-Ashuu, lay two layers of asphalt pavement instead of patching, provide access to the Kara-Buura-Chatkal road and clear the section with grader.
