Uzbek Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with Ambassador of Latvia completing his mission

The head of the diplomatic mission of Latvia thanked his interlocutor for providing continued assistance in his work.

On July 27, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Latvia Mikhail Popkovs, who was completing his mission in the Republic. The Latvian diplomat expressed gratitude to Kamilov for continued support in his work and fruitful interaction, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported to CentralAsia.news.

The Minister highly evaluated the contribution made by the Ambassador of Latvia to expand the political dialogue between the two states when performing his diplomatic mission in Tashkent.

The interlocutors highlighted the need to continue to work together towards fostering a constructive political dialogue, as well as expanding mutually beneficial bilateral partnerships in such important fields as trade, economy, investment, transport, culture and humanitarian sphere, among others.
