Mamin attends opening ceremony of Kazakhstan’s first ever theme park

The Chairman of the Government made a working trip to Mangistau Region, where he visited a number of facilities.

On July 21, Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin made a working visit to Mangistau Region, where he attended the opening ceremony of the country’s first ever theme park. The Tetysblu Park is located in the Aktau tourism zone on the Caspian Sea shore, the press office of the Government of Kazakhstan reported.

The Tetysblu Park features an aqua park with unique slides, a lazy river, a wave pool and more than 30 amusement facilities that have no analogues in Central Asia.

The Chairman of the Government inspected the progress of the implementation of the Aktau tourism zone projects, including the Hilton and Fairmont hotels with a golf club, shopping malls, villas, apartments and Aqualina Resort.

The reports on the current situation in the livestock sector of the region and the measures taken to supply forage to the regions affected by droughts were presented to Mamin.

The Prime Minister instructed that additional funding be allocated to set up the stabilization fund that would be used to purchase and deliver hay and straw to local farms.
