Houses in Batken Region to be built by September 1

As is reported, the main goal of the Government is to ensure decent living conditions for the people.

On July 1, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov held a meeting of the State Commission to discuss the progress in the restoration and development of the border villages affected by the clash on the segment of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in Batken Region on April 28-30 this year, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The Chairman of the Government said the priority task for the Cabinet of Ministers was to create decent living condition for citizens of the Republic.

Commenting on the reports of the heads of ministries and departments, Maripov emphasised that there should be no bureaucratic delay in assessing damage and paying compensation to all victims.

He said the construction of residential buildings and social facilities in the region should be completed within the next two months.

The Chairman of the Government also noted that the President of Kyrgyzstan instructed that the construction of all military facilities be accelerated.
