War veterans and disabled persons receive 10,000 somoni in cash benefit

On the instructions of the President of Tajikistan, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science visited the veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

With the view to implementing the social policy, in honour of the 76th anniversary of the Victory and on the instructions of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Nurali Sobirzoda visited the veterans of the Great Patriotic War in the towns and districts of Vahdat, Faizabad and Sangvor, together with the local officials. Sobirzoda thanked the veterans for their heroism and gave them 10,000 somoni on behalf of the authorities, the press office of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan reported.

The Deputy Minister visited the veterans of the Great Patriotic War Mahmadali Tabarov in Faizabad Region, Sheron Toshev and Mumin Bobi in Vahdat town and Nazar Odinaev and Dosti Umedov in Sangvor Region. Talking to the veterans, Sobirzoda expressed his readiness to address promptly their requests and proposals, on the President’s instructions.

The Deputy Minister noted that the state and government provided support to the participants of the Great Patriotic War and their families and presented them valuable gifts on the eve of the Victory Day every year.

As was reported, in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan AP-60 dated April 28, 2021, each participant and disabled person of the Great Patriotic War will receive 10,000 somoni in one-time cash benefit.
