President of Tajikistan appoints new assistant

Emomali Nasriddinzoda was appointed as Assistant to the President on Social Development and Public Relations.

On May 5, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed the Degree on the dismissal of Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda from the post of Assistant to the President on Social Development and Public Relations. He was succeeded by Emomali Nasriddinzoda, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.

Nasriddinzoda is holding the post of Chairman of the Committee of Parliament on Legislation and Human Rights. After the Decree came into force, Rahmonzoda assumed the post of Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan.

The newly appointed Assistant to the President of Tajikistan has pedagogical and legal education. He is a Doctor in Law and Professor and a member of the Commission on Citizenship and Pardon at the Supreme Court. He has the state award – the Order of Sharaf II degree.

As was reported, the leader of Tajikistan has replaced his advisers and heads of a number of regions. Senior Adviser at the Office for Social Development and Public Relations Muhammadi Safolzoda was removed from his post upon the retirement.
