Five mobile clinic trailers arrive in Kyrgyzstan

The Islamic Development Bank is to finance the operating costs of the mobile clinic over 5 years.

On May 5, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov participated in the ceremony of handing over 5 mobile clinic trailers that would provide medical care to residents of remote settlements of the country, the press office of President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

According to the Ministry of Health, five trailers and three vehicles that will transport and carry the medical staff and equipment have arrived in the country. The clinic trailers were assembled in Turkey by order of a Norwegian company with financial assistance of the Islamic Development Bank.

The mobile medical clinic is a Ford heavy-duty vehicle with a trailer housing a mobile operating theatre and a unit with diagnostic equipment: computed tomography, ultrasound, mammography, echocardiography and X-ray machines, gastroscope, colonoscope, ophthalmoscope, rhinoscope, laboratory equipment, etc. 

Together with the trailers, a medical transport bus for patients and an ambulance were have arrived.

The mobile clinic trailers were delivered to Kyrgyzstan under an agreement with the Islamic Development Bank.
