Minister of Health of Turkmenistan names conditions of entry to Avaza

Amannepesov said that in order to visit the tourist zone, citizens have to be vaccinated against coronavirus and undergo a medical examination.

On May 3, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of some officials. The Minister of Health and Medical Industry Nurmuhammet Amannepesov reported on preparations for the summer season in the Avaza tourist zone, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».

Amannepesov said that tour packages to departmental health centers in Avaza are issued by ministries and specialized government agencies. He stressed that in order to visit the national tourist zone, citizens have to be vaccinated against coronavirus and undergo a medical examination at hospitals at the place of residence. After that, they will be issued a certificate of passing the coronavirus test within the last three days.

The date of departure must be reported to the migration service. In addition, special permission is required to travel during the travel restrictions.

The service staff in the tourist area will change every 15 days. The relevant employees will also undergo a coronavirus infection test and medical examination. All vacationers will get an opportunity to use special service — a hotel transport, which will deliver them from the place of arrival to hotels and health centers in Avaza and back after vacation.

It must be added that the tourist zone will open for holidaymakers on June 1. The summer season in Avaza will last until September 15.
