Parliament of Kyrgyzstan recommends that Government dismiss Beishenaliev

The reason for the parliamentarians’ decision is the Minister’s call to drink an herbal tincture from the Issyk-Kul root.

On April 28, Chairperson of the Committee of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic on social issues, education, science, culture and health Gulkan Moldobekov informed that the parliamentarians had put to a vote a draft resolution recommending that the Prime Minister dismiss Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, the press office of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Moldobekova said the reason for the parliamentarians’ decision was the Minister’s call to treat the coronavirus infection with an herbal tincture from the Issyk-Kul root (aconite), as well as his systematic absence at meetings of the Committee and the Jogorku Kenesh, to which the Minister was invited to report on the measures taken to combat coronavirus.

The parliamentarians invited the Minister of Health to report on the epidemic situation in the country, but he did not come.

The Ministry of Health informed that the Minister of Health was on a working trip to Naryn. However, the parliamentarian expressed their dissatisfaction, saying that Beishenaliev was ignoring the Parliament.
