The parties will discuss the preparations for the official visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan, scheduled for the first half of June 2021.
The Embassy of Tajikistan in Uzbekistan reported on a meeting between Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and his Tajik counterpart Kokhir Rasulzoda, which will take place on April 24. The parties will discuss the preparations for the official visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan.
On April 21, an Uzbek expert delegation, consisting of representatives of the government agencies, arrived in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan to discuss and elaborate the aspects of trade, economic, transport, communication, water and energy cooperation, as well as partnerships in industry and agriculture.
The outcomes of its work will be presented at a ministerial meeting, during which representatives of the two countries will review the draft documents to be signed during Mirziyoyev’s visit to Dushanbe.
On April 22, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov had a meeting with Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Sodik Imomi, who was completing his diplomatic mission in Tashkent, the press office of the Ministry reported.
The officials discussed the major issues related to promotion and enhancement of Uzbekistan-Tajikistan friendly relations, good neighbourliness and strategic cooperation, as well as the progress in implementing the high-level bilateral agreements.
