President of Kyrgyzstan visits critically ill coronavirus patients in red zone

The President was informed of the work of the health institution, health status of coronavirus patients and quality of health care services.

On April 15, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited the red zone in the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital of Bishkek. Chief physician Gulzhigit Aaliev told the leader of Kyrgyzstan about the work of the health institution, health status of coronavirus patients and quality of health care services, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev reported that 200 million soms had been allocated for medications and personal protective equipment and 157 million soms had been allocated for the successfully treated coronavirus cases.

When visiting the red zone, the President asked the patients about their health status and conditions of treatment.

Japarov emphasised that the leadership of the country was working to improve working conditions for health workers.  In particular, employees of family medicine centres have received an increase in their salaries, and it is planned to increase salaries of other categories of health workers.

The medical staff thanked the President for paying attention to the concerns and problems facing health workers.
